This year the BSBI New Year Plant Hunt runs from 29 December 2024 to 1 January 2025.

FSGHG are organising a plant hunt on the 29th December as part of this event.

The hunt will start at 10.30 from Palm Hall Close, Winchester, The route of the hunt will include St John’s Street, Durngate, Wales Street, Easton Lane, Winnall Flats, Winnall Manor Road, returning to Palm Hall Close for lunch.
After lunch the route will include St Giles Hill Graveyard and Alresford Road.

Three hours are allowed for the plant hunting, the clock can be stopped for lunch etc.
